Larissa began her makeup career at Sheridan College. Taking a makeup course out of curiosity without knowing what exactly to do with her life proved useful. She found her calling and has been thriving in the Toronto makeup industry since 2005.
Larissa has always been able to adapt quickly to her surroundings, this has allowed her to work in many different categories of makeup. Starting out in a theatrical setting gave her the ability to branch out into editorial beauty, hairstyling, film and special effects. She is part of Toronto’s film and television technician union NABET 700 as a permitee and hopes that it will bring her more opportunities to be on set. Larissa also works very closely with the Toronto Burlesque community, which gives her the opportunity to explore a world of unique, creative concepts and people. This also allows her to grow within the world of vintage beauty and hairstyling, which is one of her favourites.
Her work has been featured in The Toronto Star, Muchmusic, MTV, YTV, SliceTV and TIFF. She has worked on several productions with The Classical Theatre Project, Hart House Theatre, The Rose Theatre Brampton , Toronto Youth Theatre, Canada’s Wonderland and Toronto’s own Evil Dead The Musical. Her work has also graced the stage of the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend in Las Vegas on legends and title winners!
Aside from shows, Larissa is available for all of your makeup needs:
